Proceeds of 911 sale to charity – Harbour Cars

Harbour Cars has recently sold a 911 and all the proceeds have gone to Ugandan Charity Watoto.

The opportunity presented itself when a customer who had previously bought the car from Harbour Cars and had their enjoyment from it approached us wishing to sell it back and donate their proceeds in an act of selfless generosity.

Unable to determine the fair price to buy the car in for under the circumstances, Harbour Cars elected to donate their profit margin in its entirity also and the salesperson their bonus.

Watoto is an holistic care programme that was initiated as a response to the overwhelming number of orphaned children and vulnerable women in Uganda, whose lives have been ravaged by war and disease.

We’d like to thank the supplying customer for this humbling example of genorisity and it would be remiss not to thank the purchaser too – you know who you are!
