The GTS was introduced as a run out model for the 997 before the 991 went into production.
These were all ‘widebody’ cars regardless of if they were 2wd or 4wd, something previously reserved for 4wd and Turbo models. The GTS also had a performance upgrade by way of a Porsche Powerkit to 408 Bhp and 19” RS Spyder design Centrelock alloy wheels were offered.
With styling by way of a front spoiler and different side skirts to the standard car the GTS is subtly enhanced.
Rear seats and full leather interiors also became optional with the 997 GTS.
The 997 GTS has become a desired variation of the 997 line-up.

For many years I had been driving past Harbour cars promising that one day I would go in for real. That day came on my 60th birthday!Although being an ‘easy’ customer kind of knowing exactly what I wanted being a 911 nut have to say that the service was superb and I also felt a certain reassurance from buying from here being my first Porsche! along with attention to detail. They made the whole experience special, would defiantly go back!!
