Model Description

Porsche 911

(996.2) 3.6 GT3

25 years ago in 1999 the first Porsche 911 (996) GT3 started Porsche enthusiasts experience of track derived road going cars and the GT product was launched.
They made very few first generation 996 GT3 and the updated second generation with more power came in very slim numbers compared to today with only around 320 UK registered cars produced.
Cars could be ordered in Clubsport or Comfort format. The Clubsport cars had Nomex Recarro Bucket Seats & Rollcage but the standard cars came with regular sports seats and no cage. It was possible to order the Comfort car with Bucket seats and a cage though and when we sold 996 GT3 back when they were contemporary young cars we felt this was perhaps the nicest specification as it provided Leather faced Carbon Bucket seats and Stainless Steel finished Roll Cage as per this example.
This particular car we first sold in 2008 with 15,000 miles to its third owner and have just bought it back from the fourth owner who had owned the car since 2012.
