Four years after the all-new 911 Carrera came to market as the 991 the second generation hatched for Model year 2016 with more efficient and more powerful Turbo charged engines but still with the ubiquitous Flat 6 configuration.
For the Gen 2 the exterior was freshened up with more aggressive front and rear bumpers and the PCM and entertainment systems updated too.
Both the Carrera and Carrera S featured the same 3.0 Twin-turbo engine but with 370 and 420 HP respectively. Out on the road we feel the two models have never felt so close to each other in real world driving conditions.
