All of our approved used cars undergo thorough preparation to make them presentable to the highest possible showroom standards. Years of specialist experience with the product, together with an attitude that everyday holds the opportunity to learn fresh things, means that we are confident in saying a used car from Harbour Cars is the very best value for money.
We strive to make the prices of our pre-owned cars amongst the best on the market and every car that we sell comes complete with one year's AA Warranty, unless it is still under guarantee from the manufacturer.
Harbour Cars' promise to you:
- We provide one year's AA Warranty on all cars that are not still covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Click here for further details
- All of our used vehicles undergo an independent 112 point inspection and test-drive by a qualified technician, with the subsequent rectification of any faults found.
- Any routine service that may be due is done prior to sale. Naturally, all of our cars have a sound service history.
- An HPi check is performed on the car to uncover any 'hidden' history.
- We check the car against the National Mileage Register.
- Autotechnics will deal with any repairs and services going forward as a priority.
- We strive to provide a free quality courtesy vehicle, wherever possible.
Wherever you are located should an unexpected fault occur after you have taken delivery of your car just call us and we will be pleased to make the appropriate arrangements to get you back on the road. If you are local to us our independent technicians, Autotechnics, are located on the premises adjacent to Harbour Cars. Autotechnics have fully equipped workshops, including the latest diagnostic technology, and will deal with your repairs as a matter of priority. And should a fault occur within your warranty period, the parts will be replaced and repairs made, completely free of charge.
Warranty
When you buy a used car from Harbour Cars we will include in the price of your car a one Year Warranty provided by AA Warranty throughout the UK and mainland Europe. This Warranty is valid no matter how many miles you do in your car within that year. The AA Warranty is always included in the price of your car unless otherwise stated, such as when the manufacturer's warranty is still in place.
The AA Warranty product we provide is the best we know of in the market and is proportionate to the investment you are making and the type of cars we sell.
Currently there are 2 levels of cover on offer, depending on the age of your car and its mileage:
- AA Warranty Gold Mechanical Breakdown Insurance for cars up to 12 years or 125,000 miles on inception - This covers all mechanical and electrical components for both parts and labour but specifically names a short list of excluded items. - AA Warranty 5 Star Mechanical Breakdown Insurance for cars over 12 years or 125,000 miles on inception - This covers an extensive list of components for parts and labour but works on the basis of naming precisely what is covered. This is the 'next best' cover to AA Warranty Gold that is available. Read more about this warranty here.
In the event of a fault, you can either ask us to deal with it on your behalf or choose your own suitable repairer. Either way, AA Warranty will reimburse the repairer direct, without the requirement for you to pay them and submit a claim.
